Ash and 9th. Street is where the
famous Williams House is located.
Built in 1856 for Mr. Marcellus Williams who was a surveyor for the railroad and was noted for doing the surveying from Amelia Island to Ceder Key. The is said to be haunted by several ghost. Mr. Williams died and the house was passed on to his son, Marcellus Jr. who died in 1912 at home from a massive heart attack. Mr. Marcellus died sitting in his chair, he was wearing a grey suit with a matching hat. His ghost has been sighted in several rooms of the house by many different people. Jefferson Davis, President of the Confederacy stayed at the Williams House and stored some of his personal effects there during the Civil War. |

The Thompson House is reported to be the first brick home built on Amelia Island, there were businesses built from brick but not homes. The house is reported to be haunted by Nettie Thompson. She is dressed all in black and has been seen walking down the stairs and simply passes through a wall. Nettie still roams the house and spends a great deal of time in the kitchen. |

Today the Crab Trap Restaurant is noted for it's great seafood and drinks but it is also famous for a resident ghost that can be heard upstairs walking around at night. The building was built in 1877 and was a brothel, hotel and funeral home. |

The Florida House Inn was built in 1857 by David Yulee's Florida Railroad company. His planned railroad was from Fernandina Beach to Ceder Key on the Gulf coast of Florida. The Florida House Inn has many ghost to it's legends and has been investigated by many in the paranormal field. EMF energy and orbs are almost a nightly occurrence. The guest who stay at the Inn today generally report strange things during the night. |

Cemetery at St. Peters is the location where several "forms" have been seen roaming around the grounds, when approached by anyone they simply vanish. The cemetery is always full of energy, as captured on film and on EMF meters. The tour of the Cemetery is always a hot spot that customers have a hard time leaving, this is the last stop on the tour and the excitement is running high when finished. |
